Faced with growing environmental challenges, including climate change, salinization and the deterioration of oasis soils, date palm(Phoenix dactylifera L.) oases in North Africa face numerous threats. This book explores the future of agriculture in the Figuig oasis, Morocco, highlighting an innovative approach: the use of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF). It is essential to characterize CMA isolates adapted to date palm ecosystems, as a prerequisite for future fundamental and applied research projects.
