In the small Newfoundland fishing village of Slate Harbour, a profound disturbance erupts between two families. The murky waters of jealousy, stirred by suspicion, transform their normally calm seas into tumultuous waves of hatred. Under brooding skies and against swelling seas, the inevitable storm begins to rage, while villagers watch as two boats head out towards a ferocious tempest of vengeance.
