Moving the Mountain

Charlotte Perkins Gilman was a prominent American feminist, social activist, and writer. Gilman served as a role model for all the future feminists and female writers that followed her. Gilman is now best remembered for writing The Yellow Wallpaper, an influential short story, and Herland, a classic utopian novel. Moving the Mountain, published in 1911, is a feminist utopian novel. This book was followed by Gilman's classic Herland.
