Mourning Has Broken

Giving myself a year of mourning after my sister, Diana's, untimely death, I go about my life while allowing memories, tears, guilt, joy and love to inhabit me. Mourning Has Broken is a collection of the different times I have felt grief during the year. I have tried to capture my raw feelings and emotions regarding not only Diana's death but also the deaths of a mother, a father, a close friend, a career and a religion. For those of you going through the suffering of watching a loved one die or are in the process of mourning I wish that my words not only comfort you and help you with feelings and thoughts which can be difficult to acknowledge but also stir up joyful memories.
