Modeling the farming process using Petri Nets

The aim of this book was to model a process that would increase the profitability of the agricultural sector and consequently reduce prices for the end consumer. The modeled process showed that precision agriculture is an excellent tool for improving soil fertility monitoring. This allows for rational planning of fertilizer application in the area. You can also monitor the evolution of these nutrients in the area, as well as carry out variable rate applications, with the aim of improving the fertility conditions of the area, reducing replacement costs and increasing the productive potential of the crops.
