Misty Finds Her Courage

This book tells the story of a Misty, a young cat whose happy life is changed when a mean neighbor cat attacks one night. Misty becomes so afraid of the bully that she just wants to hide in the barn. She eventually finds the courage to venture back out into the world and, with help from a friend, makes a plan so she can enjoy her life without fear.This story was written to help and encourage children who have experienced bullying, trauma, or loss. However, the positive message, fun pictures, and entertaining story line should appeal to all kids. Photographs of cats Misty and Matrix, and Summer, the farm dog, appear on every page for illustrations.
