Mission and the Emerging Indian Middle Class

Union Biblical Seminary jointly with Interserve India organized its 18th Annual CMS Consultation, from 18th to 20th January 2012. The theme of the Consultation was "Mission and the Emerging Indian Middle Class". They based this Consultation on a survey entitled, "Survey Research on Serving Middle Class Indians" which was conducted in seven Indian cities (Bangalore, Kolkata, Nagpur, Pune, Chennai, Ahmedabad, and Guwahati) by Interserve India. Out of the many papers which were presented and discussed, we have selected five to form this book. It will be helpful for churches, mission agencies, missiologists and missionaries.
