Millstone

"e;The Millstone"e; is actually a very brutal crime novel, even if that isn't immediately apparent from the first few pages... The story spans 30 years. It's exceptionally realistic and, of course, serious, yet told with plenty of humor...  At the heart of the story are the super-rich, among whom there are both very bad and very good people... Matthew 18:6 states that whoever raises a hand against a child or an innocent person should have a millstone hung around their neck and be thrown into the sea... In the story, extraordinary characters are either investigating or fleeing from the law...
