When the sky falls, survival begins.

The year is 2056. Without warning, a colossal meteor storm crashes into Earth's atmosphere, plunging the planet into darkness. Electronics fail. Communications collapse. Cities burn. The sky is forever changed.

In the remote wilderness of a national park, fourteen-year-old Derek watches his world vanish in a flash of fire and ash. Alone and surrounded by devastation, he discovers a strange, glowing meteorite-one that radiates heat, pulses with energy, and seems to respond to his touch. With this mysterious object as his only source of warmth and light, Derek begins a perilous journey through a frozen, ash-choked wasteland in search of survivors, safety, and answers.

As governments crumble and power-hungry leaders rise from the shadows, the rules of civilization are rewritten. Some see the fall as the end. Others believe it is the beginning of something new.
