One of the most important sources of the Fatimid era that reached us is the books of Ali bin Manbin Ibn Suleiman, known as Ibn Al -Serafi, the head of the Fatimid construction bureau during the reign of the caliph, who commanded the rulings of God and the caliph Al -Hafiz to the Fatimid religion of God. The importance of this author is due to the fact that he lived in the court of the caliphs and wrote most of the records, which reached us, and published in the first decades of the sixth century AH/ twelfth AD, and the leaflet that is in your hands now contains two books of the most important books of Ibn Al -Serafi previously published in the early this century. One of them, which is the "law in the Bureau of Messages", was printed in Cairo in the year 1905 with the care of the late archaeological Ali Bey Bahjat, which is a little existence even in public libraries. It deals with an important topic, which is the conditions that must be met by those who take over the letter of messages and who must be followed in the status of users and their assistants, and the other is "the reference to those who obtained the ministry" in which the Fatimid ministers mentioned from Ibn Kilis to Al -Mamoun Ibn Al -Batahi, who gave him the book.
