Manufacturing in Action

This book is great for beginners or those new to the manufacturing process because it is packed with real-world examples. It provides a better way of learning because readers are shown how rather than told how plants operate and employees interact. In a clear and concise manner, assembly type operations are explored while examining the various departments and people that exist within. Each department's function is discussed along with a special "In action" section that shows how employees in those departments work together to accomplish organizational goals. As an added bonus, Louis Bevoc's book, "Baby Boomers, Generation X, and Millennial Employees," is also included. This book examines the differences between these employees and sheds light on why they behave the way they do in manufacturing environments.
