Magnetohydrodynamics

One of the areas of science and technology that attracted interest of many scientists and researchers is certainly Magneto-fluid-dynamics. In recent years, Applied Mathematicians have also developed a strong interest in the science of hydromagnetics. This is mainly due to its many applications in engineering, astrophysics, geophysics and power generation, among others. The present study analyses the hydromagnetic flow through a channel with parallel porous plates and heat transfer in the presence of an inclined magnetic field when the viscous dissipation is not neglected.The theoretical results of the present study can be applied in designing devices which follow the rules and principles of MHD as well as in addressing energy and environmental challenges that face our world today.
