Lyla is a schoolgirl who struggles to express herself through oral language. Being neurodivergent makes it incredibly difficult for Lyla to make friends and feel any sense of belonging.

A chance encounter with a painter and her dog opens a brand-new world of possibilities for Lyla. All of Lyla's thoughts and feelings, imagination and dreams come to life through her artwork.
