Lukewarm Lutherans

The Lutheran church is known for sound doctrine and order in its service, but in their efforts to stay true to the teachings of Martin Luther, something seems to get lost. Passion in the message, passion in prayer, and passion in worship has led to a lukewarm lifestyle in the hearts of Lutheran believers. Rituals and traditions have taken the place of relationship with God so much so that the idea of having a true personal relationship with God is foreign to most Lutheran believers. The Lukewarm Lutherans points out some simple truths about the Lutheran church that needs to be addressed before Christ returns and the Lutheran church finds itself in the same predicament as the church of the Laodiceans mentioned in the Revelation of Jesus Christ who warns that they will be violently rejected by Christ at his return.
