Lost and Found

Jake moves across the country to the not quite sleepy little harbour town of Saint Mary's Quay and takes up a caretakers job in a place the locals call the Pity Palace, a huge manor house that has been made into a home for people struggling to get back onto their feet. All isn't as it seems however. Marion, the landlady, is more than a little peculiar. Nightmares are common and the very building sometimes seems to be watching. Judging. And that's before he's even taken into account the colourful nature of the other inhabitants, not to mention the town itself. And beneath the house a secret lies. Long forgotten. Listening. Waiting. Ready to erupt and grasp at every bit of life it can get its hands on, if only someone would just let it out.
