“Los Angeles is a city of losers.” Robert Mitchum Fourteen million inhabitants in Los Angeles county in a battle for survival. Three million people within the city limits of Los Angeles compete for jobs, space, food, water, & air, and are seduced and overwhelmed by exiting living in Los Angeles, with too much luxury that exhausts the human spirit. This is a collection of short stories about the characters that Robert Noyola knew and lived among during his years in Los Angeles. The final story The Golden Triangle, is an accurate fictionalization of the history of his hometown of Port Arthur, Texas. Where he finally returned after retiring in Los Angeles, California then moving to El Paso, Texas.
