From a young boy growing up on the outskirts of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Richard W. Gourash's travels have taken him from plains to mountaintops, climbing some of the many steep ranges in North America. He's been through the Western United States, Alaska, and Northern Canada-through some of the most rugged mountains of the northern hemisphere. In Living Above the Clouds, he shares a collection of adventure short stories that detail his excursions to the most extreme, dangerous, and remote situations in the world.
