Limnology

This book is constructed on the general assumption that the reader has a background of training in physics, chemistry, botany, and zoology. It is intended, for the most part, to meet the needs of senior and graduate students. Materials relating to limnological methods and practices have been omitted, since it was felt that they belong more properly in a book of directions for field and laboratory work. The author has such a field and laboratory guide in preparation.
