The left page of the book displays a photograph with a reflective statement on the right. Each statement begins with: Life is... followed by prose that relates directly to the photograph; then the turning point, But that will take your mind in a different direction. It is at this point emotions are being awakened in response to the photograph and what the statement is revealing to you in connection to your life. Below the reflective statement are five lines for your personal thoughts.
