Let's Celebrate!

Let's Celebrate is aligned to the Common Core State Standards for English/Language Arts, addressing Literacy.RI.K.3 and Literacy.L.K.1. The fun activities and excitement of five major holidays are explained through color photographs and narrative nonfiction text. Readers learn how to celebrate Earth Day, Mother's Day, The Fourth of July, Halloween, and of course, a birthday. A celebration chart is included in the back of the book that lists the months in which the four national holidays are observed. This book should be paired with "Celebrating Our Holidays" (9781448887439) from the Rosen Common Core Readers Program to provide the alternative point of view on the same topic.
