L'Enfant noir

The Focus Student Editions are designed for French language courses in literature and culture. This Focus student edition is a novel published in 1953 by Camara Laye, an African writer born in Guinea and is an autobiographical story which narrates in first person a journey from childhood in Kouroussa, through challenges in Conakry, to France.
