Kipchak Turkic Lexical Traces of Ottoman Heritage in Romanian and Balkan Languages

This text attempts to establish the stratification of the Turkish linguistic history of the Balkans based on new principles of methodology. This examination points towards the existence of a Kipchak Turkic substratum even before the Ottomans arrived in the area.
