ITA

ITA contains the alphabetically arranged abbreviations of periodicals and newspapers, series and standard works, of festschrifts and handbooks, German and foreign legislation, of a number of names of institutions, organizations and associations which publish their own material, as well as general terms. The bibliography covers all areas of knowledge and all languages. Each entry includes the following information: title of the publication, subtitle, parallel title in a foreign language, change in title, editor, multilingualism, series, monograph, publisher, place of publishing, date of first publication, previous publication dates, type of publication and ISSN. The 12th edition offers approximately 130,000 abbreviations with comprehensive bibliographical details, of which 10,000 are new in this edition.
