About the Author: Paul Magnuson is a teacher and educational researcher who marvels at how clever children are. His work with schools includes a strong bias toward supporting creativity and a strong aversion to rows of desks, lists of requirements, and evaluations that compare one child to the next. That can't be right He lives in Switzerland and consults internationally.

About the Illustrator: Margarita Sikorskaia was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, where she studied arts and graphics at the Hertzen State Pedagogical University. At the age of twenty-two, she moved to the United States, A prolific and passionate artist, she has exhibited her paintings throughout the country. Margarita turned her attention to illustration in 2009 and takes much pride and pleasure in bringing children's stories to life.
