Integrative Family Therapy Supervisor

The textbook is designed to replace the "e;standard"e; treatise with one more reader-friendly, integrative in orientation, practical and pragmatic, and full of exercises for the skills necessary for the AAMFT Approved Supervisor credential. Readers will be led through a solution-focused process of discovering what they already know from having been the recipients of supervision, who they are, and who their clients might be. The readers will be led to develop personal models of supervision. In the process they also will consider professionally endorsed standards of practice, and expectable problems. The attitude of the text will be one of talking with the readers, not at them, with a goal toward the practical, day-to-day application of scholarship in contemporary supervision settings.
