Inclusive Heritage

This book focuses on the global goal of inclusivity and sustainability in heritage as defined by the United Nations and UNESCO. A detailed Introduction forms a commentary on the state of the field of heritage studies. The book is written by a cross-disciplinary team working in the GLAMA sector. It features contributions on decolonisation in museums and archives, co-production between heritage professionals and communities, the meaning of cultural memory and commemoration in anniversaries and monuments, and innovative uses of digital methods in heritage research.
