Stephanie L. Swinnea holds a Bachelor ofScience degree in Music Education fromTexas Womans University in Denton, TXand a Master of Divinity Degree from theSeminary of the Southwest in Austin, TX. She is an ordained a priest of the EpiscopalChurch USA. Before becoming a priest,Stephanie was an annual performer as amusician and storyteller at the North TexasIrish Festival in Dallas, TX. She was also aneducational consultant for the Texas publicschools presenting programs of Irelandsstories, history, culture, geography, art,and especially music. While searching forstories about the legendary Saint Patrick,Stephanie discovered the real man behindthe myths, Patricius Magonus Sucatus,whose Confession told a story greater thanall the myths combined. After four yearsof research she felt compelled to tell histale in a medium that makes biographicalfi gures come to life, the historical novel. Stephanie is currently developing anotherhistorical novel. She has written severalscreenplays, has received an option on oneand is currently working with a produceron another.
