When Jennifer Court began writing "I Know What it's Like" around 2011, her aim was to enlighten her children about the details of her cancer battle that began in the year 2000.

The story slowly morphed into a way to help other ovarian cancer survivors. In the process of being shared with others, Jennifer discovered that "I Know What it's Like" has become a story of hope.
