I Can'T Like Broccoli

It is a cold and rainy night when little Paul sits down to a delicious fried chicken and mashed potato dinnerat least it was delicious until his mom puts a big, round green thing on his plate she calls a flowerette.

Paul does not like green things at all. After his mother tells him he cannot get up from the table until he tastes the green thing, Paul stares at the flowerette and wishes it would just go away. As the clock ticks away and the broccoli becomes a cold, green blob of blechiness, a battle of wills begins. Who will win: Paul or his mom?

In this darling tale, a little boy learns all about vegetables and why they are important while he determines if he can ever like broccoli enough to taste it.
