"I am Innocent" is the jail-cell autobiography of Bruno Richard Hauptmann, the German immigrant accused, tried, and convicted of kidnapping and murdering Charles Lindbergh, Jr., the infant child of famed pilot Charles Lindbergh. Hauptmann maintained his innocence throughout his arrest, trial and incarceration, even up to his execution. Tolzmann searched for and finally found the original English translation of the lost German manuscript of the book, and has provided a complete edition of the work here.
