Hydrological Modeling and Integrated Water Management in the Vinto Commune

This book develops a hydrological model of the upper and lower watersheds of the communities of the municipality of Vinto, where the following methodology was followed: definition of the spatial and temporal domain, creation and development of the model, calibration of the hydrological model, creation of future scenarios, evaluation of the data output. The WEAP (Water Evaluation And Planning System) tool was used for the study, generating and identifying options for decision-makers on the allocation of water for irrigation in the most vulnerable communities, allowing to prioritize their demands and to be attended with other projects of municipal or departmental competence.
