Hong Kong's Arcades

Hong Kong's arcades are gradually disappearing in the rapidly changing urban development. There are only about 100 survivals so far.Over the past few years, the two authors have visited the sub-districts of Hong Kong and Kowloon to record the nearly 100 Hong Kong-style arcades with photographs, share their interpretation of the architectural features of the arcades, and attach maps to indicate the location of each arcade, so that readers can follow up the clues to find the arcades, appreciate them on site and experience the living environment of Hong Kong people in the past.
