Historische Bildung regional

Die Autorinnen und Autoren dieses Bandes gehen der grundlegenden Frage nach, ob und inwiefern regional- und lokalgeschichtliche Perspektivierungen besondere Lernpotenziale fur Kinder und Jugendliche wie auch fur historisch interessierte Erwachsene bieten. Auf der Schnittstelle von Geschichtsdidaktik und Landesgeschichte gelegen, verdeutlichen analoge und digitale Beispiele aus den Bereichen Schule, Archiv, Bibliothek, Museum, Portale und Wissenschaftliche Sammlungen das signifikante Spannungsverhaltnis zwischen Vertrautheit und Identifikations- wie auch Verwurzelungsbedurfnissen im Lokalen einerseits und dem Gestus des kritischen, distanzierten Fragens im Bereich der historischen Bildung andererseits. Die Spanne der Beitrage reicht hierbei von der Antike bis zur Gegenwart. This anthology explores the fundamental question of whether and to what extent regional and local historical perspectives offer particularly great learning potential for children and young people as well as for adults interested in history. Located at the interface between historical didactics and regional history, analog and digital examples from schools, archives, libraries, museums, portals and scientific collections illustrate the significant tension between familiarity and the need for identification and rootedness in the local on the one hand and the gesture of critical, distanced questioning in the field of historical education on the other. The contributions range from antiquity to the present day.
