ADULT THEME AND CONTENT Ted Visscher has devoted his life to the pursuit of profound sensual experiences: sexual, culinary, musical, theatrical, oenological, and natural. His inability to integrate that part of his psychological makeup with a moral lifestyle eventually leads him to commit a series of horrific acts."Hedonism" follows him through his memories of several of those incidents, then through the last few days of his life, as he attempts to justify his philosophy - at least in his own mind.
