Haven't We Met Before?

This six-section resource may be used as a Bible study or as the basis for a sermon series.

Each section contains a first-person monologue of a biblical character along with a response showing the contemporary application, followed by discussion questions. If used for a worship service, a church member could deliver the response and the discussion questions could appear in the bulletin. The monologues are accompanied with a response showing the contemporary application and discussion questions.

The biblical characters are Nicodemus, the woman caught in adultery, Peter, Pilate, Mary Magdalene, and Jesus. This resource will help individuals form a loving and healing circle with each other so that they can experience God's power.

In her previous career as a journalist and news reporter, Barlow-Williams met new people each day and told their stories. She has brought those skills to her pastoral ministry by revealing the human side of biblical characters.
