Growing Up Broken

Growing up is hard and for a young black girl it is harder, especially in the projects. Can you imagine growing up with every obstacle from murder to rape at your front door? This story will follow a young woman from birth to adulthood and show her struggles of being a mother when she has no idea of what a mother is. This book will follow this young woman as she dives into the streets to survive and fight for her life just to live. This story based on true events that are as captivating as it is horrifying.
