Gates of the Kingdom

Eric Latour is a young French adventurer on a quest to find a secret kingdom that can only be reached by going through twelve gates. He knows that a great treasure awaits him if he completes the journey. He encounters the citizens of the kingdom after passing through each gate, and they help him along, pointing the way towards the next gate. They also protect him from the many enemies of the kingdom who also want to find the great treasure at stake. Throughout his adventures, Eric discovers the people and the values of the kingdom and little by little, the quest is less about the treasure and more about belonging.
