From Perestroika to Shootout (1982–1993)

Yuri Andropov, having become the head of the Soviet state, suddenly dared to "rebel" - he decided to rebuild the country according to his own understanding. But his strength was already running out, and the old party guard did not believe in his plans. He only managed to stir up the sea called the Soviet Union. The equally short reign of Konstantin Chernenko passed unnoticed. The last two rulers of Soviet Russia, destroyed after the dissolution of the Supreme Soviet of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Gorbuchev (1985-1991) and Boris Yeltsin (1991-1993), gave birth to insane ethnic strife in the country, banditry on a stunning scale, cynicism and contempt for ordinary working people, whom the rich upstarts and their entourage began to contemptuously call "sovok". They have plunged the majority of their country''s inhabitants into poverty, while the top brass has become incredibly rich, robbed an entire generation of pensioners and reduced life expectancy to the lowest level among developed countries in the world...
