It is 6000 miles as the crow flies fromKamchatka, Siberia to TEXAS. TheSiberians who began the trip here, wound up 3000 years later in Texas. There is acontinuous path of cave sites and rockshelterswith Clovis and Folsom cultural artifacts alongthe way. All of us know by now that duringthe Pleistocene, ocean water was tied up in theArctic ice to depths of a mile or more and theoceans of the world were lowered by possibly300 feet. During this time there was a landbridge called Beringa open for travel, by foot,to North America. This is the story of howAsian people from Siberia were able to walk intoAlaska, and colonize the Western Hemisphere. Kamchatka is a land filled with volcanoes andsubterranian lava tubes, which sometimes havehot springs in them. In a land as cold as Siberia, these tube caves are a perfect environment forhumans to live in comfort. Our trip began withSiberians in either caves or lava tubes along theKamchatka peninsula, seeking the adventure offinding new worlds to the East. This is a tale ofsome fiction and fact and it is hoped that thereader will find the journey exciting.
