This is my first published book, the pieces written with-in it were written at a time in my life when sadness and loss were very raw emotions in my everyday. With the death of my best friend I found writing to be my only outlet for all the feelings I was unable to deal with. The thing about being a motherless mother is, no matter what you face, you have no where to run. So I run to my notebook.
