Flower on the River

No one ever said being Queen of the Ogres was going to be easy.

People said their love and their dream was impossible. With his wife Arsh at his side, Rekki, the King of the Ogres, expands his empire into the River Kingdoms. Greeted as liberator instead of conqueror, the people embrace Rekki as their lord in the hopes he will bring a new era of prosperity and justice to the ogres. However, the public is less accepting of Arshe's authority-both as an elf and a woman.

While Rekki is away at war, a conspiracy to dethrone him brews at court. As Queen Arsh peels back the layers of the plot, the danger grows greater the closer she gets to the truth. With a target on her back, she is the only one standing between the throne and the cunning traitors determined to throw open the palace gates to an invading army lead by a deposed prince.

With the fate of a kingdom riding on her small shoulders, she must prove to the people she has the heart of a hero. The bards will sing of her deeds. But will they remember her as a legend or a tragic queen?
