Fishy Tales

Growing up in Alaska meant salmon fishing with our dad and gazing in wonder and awe as the northern lights danced overhead. We didn't realize how lucky we were until we left Alaska together to pursue a musical career. Alisa wrote this colorful poem inspired by her fondest childhood memories from our hometown of Palmer. Years later, I was particularly missing it's wild majesty and finally illustrated the pictures in this book, exerting my best efforts to capture the innocent joys of childhood and the magic of Alaska. -LaRae
