Sally has a secret-she's having problems with her superpowers. Big problems. Sometimes her brain hurts so much she feels like her head will explode. To make matters worse, she can't tell anyone because their mysterious leader, Krait, might take her powers away completely.

But now it seems that her problems have only just started.

First, she and the other members of NEST have got to capture a pair of deadly bank robbers. This modern day Bonnie and Clyde can turn your whole world upside down. And these criminals aren't alone. They've brought with them a horrible little girl who can knock you over just by opening her mouth...

Together, the three of them form a terrifying trio.

It's no wonder that Tyrone gets injured. But events go from bad to worse when he goes missing on a simple visit to the doctor. Where has he gone? Has he left the team? Or has something far worse happened?

Sally has to go undercover to find him, but it's an assignment she may not survive...
