Face The Ignominy

I am human. I have emotions. Some might say that maybe I'm a little too emotional. But who knows, maybe I'm normal. Or maybe I do tend to take my feelings more seriously than I should. Maybe it's the shame that I face every day, and maybe that's why I am who I am. But I've recently learned that shame propels us all. And it affects is us so many ways. I'm tired of hiding my shame. I choose to wear it boldly and with pride. I choose to tell my truth and show you what I feel inside. This is me, facing the ignominy.
