Etiquette at Table: The Classic Guide

This book answers to more than 240 pertinent questions concerning the gracious art of good table manners: how to hold a fish knife, what to say when meeting strangers in a formal dinner, how to use the napkin, the correct rest position of silverware, how to behave when you have a fishbone in the mouth, among hundreds of other advices. The book has a chapter on how to eat specific foods, such apples, strawberries, watermelon, asparagus, artichoke, olives, lobster, cheese, oysters, omelette, lettuce, mayonnaise, etc. This book also contains advices on service and sociability and it is an adaption, to modern times, of the table etiquette that my family has used for generations. All revenues obtained from this book will be used to promote scientific research on ethnobotany (Plant and People Studies).
