India is one of the most religiously and ethnically diverse nations in the world with some of the most deeply religious societies and cultures. Different societies use plants according to their own beliefs, knowledge and experiences. Their knowledge about the use of the plants is usually not known to other societies and scientists. This book is a compilation of existing literature, field visits, and interactions with renowned personalities working in the similar field.
