Engelsk på mellomtrinnet

Engelsk på mellomtrinnet has a Norwegian title, but the book itself is in plain-talking English. When pupils work towards the aims of Kunnskapsløftet 2020 and in line with the Core Curriculum, it is your privilege as an English teacher to decide which learning activities and texts your pupils will work with. But how do you choose activities and texts that promote in-depth language learning? How do you adapt materials and tasks so that all your pupils are challenged but not overwhelmed? What does it mean to teach grammar, culture, digital skills, vocabulary, oral skills, reading and writing? What sort of English should you teach? And how does one design and assess English learning in relation to the whole of Kunnskapsløftet 2020, and not only in relation to the competence aims or the textbook?
