Emperor and the Magical Robe

In a faraway kingdom, a conceited emperor ruled, whose attention was so focused on finery that it distracted him from the affairs of government, that poverty spread among his subjects. One day, two swindlers arrived in his kingdom, claiming they could weave a magical fabric that would only be seen by the intelligent and loyal, while remaining hidden from the foolish and deceitful. This idea arouses the emperor's arrogance and prompts him to ask for the robe, but he is trapped by the fear of being accused of stupidity if he does not see it. The ironic events escalate with everyone who sees the imaginary robe, as every minister and courtier pretends to see it for fear of looking foolish. The story culminates in the emperor's grand procession, where he parades naked before the people as everyone praises his "e;wonderful robe."e; But can such a big lie last? A young child, with an innocent voice, ends this mass deception, shouting out the truth that everyone is afraid to admit.
