Ella's Carnival

Everyone knows the story of Cinderella. The tale of how the humble young woman marries Prince Charming has been around, in one form or another, for almost three thousand years. But what if the modern Prince Charming is a serial womanizer with a never-ending list of society beauties all queuing up to be his bride? And what if the sister in the story is not the ugly harpy of legend but very beautiful, gracious and desperate to marry off her philandering brother? Enter Ella, a stressed-out professional woman taking a much needed break from work, who accompanies her brother Paul on a visit to his girlfriend, Lady Daniela, i.e. Sister Charming at her family seat. Carnival season is approaching, traditionally a time when the Lord of Misrule takes over and anything can happen; a time when even the castle ghosts join in the celebrations with the living albeit in their own inimitable fashion. Ella is destined for a holiday she'll never forget.
