David Rollo has written three books with Sam Morris- an erudite,hard drinking, Casino Investigator - the central character* Thefirst being 'The Blitzkrieg Casino Scam,' followed by 'The BigBust.' Both these books dealt with Casino cheats and Morris'attempts to track them down. A Hit and Run accident beingthe catalyst, 'The Doublet Detective' finds Morris, now retired,drawn into a complex investigation in his attempt to help afriend find his missing wife. Based in the West End of Glasgow,with the Doublet Bar in Park Road featuring regularly, thesearch moves to the Highlands and back as the body countrises and the plot draws in more characters each with theirown motives and sinister plans...
